The Dover (DE) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. is pleased to announce that applications for our 2024 Scholarships are now being accepted and due by the close of business on April 15 th 2024.
SCHOLARSHIP: WILLIAM MONROE HEARNE SCHOLARSHIP
PURPOSE: In 2009, the Dover (DE) Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., initiated a scholarship in honor of William Monroe Hearne, a charter member of the chapter. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist outstanding students from Kent and Sussex counties in pursuing an undergraduate degree at Delaware State University. The scholarship is based on academic achievement, aptitude, leadership, character, and financial need.
SCHOLARSHIP: KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INC. RESTRICTED SCHOLARSHIP
PURPOSE: The Dover (DE) Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., initiated a scholarship to assist the sons, daughters, step-sons, step-daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, nephews, and nieces of sustaining members of Dover Alumni Chapter, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university. The scholarship is based on academic achievement, aptitude, leadership, character, and financial need.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: The amount of the scholarship is determined by the size of the scholarship fund.
